I was in Grandview for work and needed lunch! The reviews for Eli and Kathy's didn't disappoint! I had a burger and fries and everything was hot, seasoned and delicious! Those fries really were perfect very friendly staff and everything was very clean!
Very nice and personable staff. The fries were average, but tartar sauce was very good. Burgers were good, not special, but a solid burger. The milkshakes are handmade, thick and excellent. A good spot in our small town.
The burger baskets a lot of fries, large pop good deal They're nachos are delicious. Big chicken strips also milkshakes good service. Oh you gotta try. They're tada sauce large tub very good.

The best Mom and Pop shop in town. I'd love to give it 5 stars, but the prices make it hard to at the moment. Yes, it has been an affordable fast food joint in the past, but for some reason the prices have gone up dramatically in the more recent few years, and it started to do so even before COVID. If it was just a COVID thing, sure, I could understand. I mean there was a time their gourmet burgers with fries and a drink were comparable with McDonald's or Carl's Jr. Now, those franchises are more affordable.If I had to go with cost v. value at the moment, I'd probably go with Carl's Jr. I'd love this trend to change, though, for I've had some of my best memories, and meals at Eli and Kathy's.
Food is cheap, non-greasy, and really good. Been coming for years, i love their ice cream/shakes! Fries are perfectly salted, burgers cooked perfectly also. Only reason im taking away a star is the other day I recieved my burger with a bun that was split and falling apart. It was good nonetheless, just wish more thought was put into the food i was given. Also was given onions i asked not to have. Also, yesterday I went and got one of their Big Trains (basically frappes). It took I kid you not 25 minutes to recieve ordered inside, no line. My family also got some, 4 total. No idea why it took that long. It was delicious though, and its dope they have 3 sugar free flavors!
